Visual Perception is the process of gaining information by using the visual sense, or more, most of the time using optical information from a characters eyes.
Low Light Vision
Low Light Vision enables the user to see better in situations where lower than useful light is present. Low Light Vision is reducing all [[Environmental Modifier]s] due to low light by 10.
Thermal Light Vision is enabling the user to see in the spectrum resulting from the heat radiation of objects. Thermal Vision is not as accurate as normal vision and induces a Modifier of 10 for all perception tests and is not able to see colors. However, no Environmental Modifiers due to low light apply.
Ultrasound Vision uses bat like echolocation for vision. Ultrasound Vision is independent of the lighting situation and not affected by lighting conditions in Environmental Modifiers. However Ultrasound is affected by Noise Environmental Modifiers and has a maximum range on 50m.
Ultrawideband is using various different spectra especially from the tetrahertz but also other parts of the spectrum to see through walls and other solid objects. Ultrawideband Vision suffers, just like Thermal vision, from lower resolution but also disorientation because of its layered nature and induces a Modifier of 20 for all perception tests and is not able to see colors. Furthermore it is not able to resolve features smaller than 1 cm. [[Environmental Modifier]s] due to low light do not apply and the Ultrawideband Vision is able to see through clothes and walls, but not metals and wifi-blocking paint. As a rule of thumb Ultrawideband Vision is able to penetrate through 2 indoor walls or one outdoor wall and treats all clothes as translucent. Use Scan Visibility to determine if hidden objects can be found.
